Cholesterol derivatives

Ar ligand Fas (FasL) play in T cell-mediated apoptosis Tose and T cell development. Forms homotrimers. Due to the transmembrane domain remains on the surface of the cells producing it.

As a result of proteolytic cleavage (between residues 129-130) produced a soluble form of the ligand. FasL deficiency leads to autoimmune syndrome lymphoma foproliferatsii. FasL efficiency can be adjusted to its binding with false Pu DcR3 (decoy receptor - Pu-trap).

APRIL (a proliferation-inducing ligand - ligand induces proliferation), interacting with Py BCMA (B-cell maturation factor - factor B cell maturation -   http://pageeasy.com/treatmentofhealth/#17

Py tumor necrosis factor superfamily, member 17 - TNFRSF17), plays a role in the development of B cells . Can stimulate apoptosis through Fas and Py HVEM. 4 splice variant known ligand. Produced by dendritic cells and activated T cells. Is also expressed in many tumor cells, for which it has an auto / paracrine-length action.  http://www.purevolume.com/marilynaliza/posts/6430729/State+program+%22Diabetes%22+is+a+corruption+scheme

Derivatives of cholesterol are steroid hormones and bile acids.

Steroid Hormones

The starting substrate for the synthesis of steroids - cholesterol, which in itself is partly formed steroidogenic tissues (adrenal cortex, gonads) and partially fed outside a free form or in the form of esters with fatty acids.

In the cells of cholesterol stored in lipid droplets in the form of esters formed by the action of acyl-coenzyme

A: cholesterol acyltransferase (ACAT). Substrate for the biosynthesis of hormonally active form of vitamin D3 - Vitamin D3, from food or formed mainly in the skin from cholesterol at break rings in the latter under the action of ultraviolet.
